CREATive partner FOR NEW JERSEY ARENA

The Prudential Center, a multi-purpose, state-of-the-art indoor sports and entertainment arena located in the central business district of Newark, New Jersey. It is the proud home of the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the men's basketball program of Seton Hall University. According to the Devils organization, the Prudential Center has played a major role in the revitalization of downtown Newark.

 

Chameleon DG played a pivotal role as creative partner prior to the Prudential Center officially opening its doors in 2007 and beyond, in one of the world’s largest media markets (NY/NJ). Chameleon DG, in partnership with Activate Sports & Entertainment, were called upon to develop a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy centered around identifying and executing the creative needs of the Prudential Center’s consumers. Innovative design and technology were implemented across multiple platforms, including general attendance, Group Sales, and Premium Levels, to promote the arena’s various brands and marketing initiatives.

MARKETING MATERIALS

The Prudential Center's creative needs spanned throughout many different parts of the arena, some of which helped the sales teams achieve goals, sponsorship integration, dual platform advertising initiatives, back of house information for event promoters and premium level marketing.

HONORING A ROCK ICON

The Prudential Center officially opened on October 25, 2007, with a series of 10 concerts by the New Jersey native rock group Bon Jovi, featuring a star-studded lineup of opening acts. Each of the 10 shows was sold out. To commemorate the achievement, the Prucenter turned to Chameleon DG for a creative way to honor the state’s native son. The result was an award winning, 24' by 24' wall mural design that prominently adorns a wall in the arena’s main concourse featuring illustrative style Bon Jovi Tour artwork and song set list.
