When The RMR Group chose to make a substantial investment in developing their Torrey Pines Life Sciences office campus, they turned to Chameleon DG for the Naming and Branding platform. The property is prominently situated on the hillside in Torrey Pines California with commanding views and an unmistakable presence given its unique architecture. This three building, Class A, life science campus and best-in-class facility, needed a name that best reflects it’s innovation.

As part of an in-depth naming exploration, The name "MUSE Torrey Pines" was selected drawing inspiration from the property’s picturesque location which includes an abundance of natural and cultural amenities.

The logo and brand platform then needed to represent the uniqueness of the property. We developed a custom font, designed with the architecture and future tenants as inspiration. This distinctive contemporary identity has a scientific quality in appearance with the “E” reflecting the general shapes of the 3 buildings on the campus. The result is a brand platform that is representative of clean, upscale and artistic modern inspiring spaces for innovators.
