In 2019, The Noannet Group and Saunders Hotel Group were introducing one of the most exciting new developments to come to Boston: Raffles Boston Back Bay Hotel & Residences. This illustrious 33-story, $400 million+ project will be the first mixed-use property in North America for the world-renowned and iconic hospitality brand. This required a press-worthy groundbreaking event. 44 Communications turned to Chameleon DG as a creative partner, while they planned and executed the grand, tented, evening affair, in Copley Square Park, adjacent to where Raffles will be opening in 2022. We were asked to produce multiple videos for the event. First, a welcome video that became a show-stopping trip around world from global Raffles Hotels and Resorts staff, offering their congratulations to the new Boston property. The second video, was a simulated interactive video initiated by Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, unveiling the new expanded location on the iconic Raffles illustrative map. And third, an atmospheric video highlighting the culture of the international Raffles brand to set the mood, while Three time Grammy winner and R&B icon Raphael Saadiq performed a live set and servers passed globally inspired bites and drinks during the highly successful event.
